The LAGO shopping center in Constance, just a few metres from the shores of Lake Constance, offers a unique shopping experience. The demand for a suitable digital signage concept that reflected the beauty of Lake Constance was correspondingly high. The result: an impressive four-by-seven-metre LED video wall in the atrium, which shows atmospheric images to combine urban shopping with the lake feeling.
Innovative semi-transparent LED wall with floating effect
The 56 semi-transparent LED panels specially developed for such installations still allow customers in the elevator to see outside. Delicate steel cables ensure a discreet installation that draws the eye to the LED wall. Thanks to a light sensor, the brightness of the wall adapts to the current lighting conditions – for optimum visibility whether in sunshine, rain or in the evening.
Multi-sensory content for every season
The motion design team is responsible for the emotional content, which picks up on the seasons and events in the LAGO shopping center. The visual content is supported by appropriate sound effects and blends harmoniously into the atmosphere of the center. This creates a multi-sensory experience that is both visually and acoustically compelling.
Implementation
- Installation of a transparent, 4×7 meter LED video wall weighing around 350 kg
- Assembly and installation at a height of around 20 meters
- Design and production of suitable video content according to customer requirements
- Operation and monitoring of the system via remote maintenance
