Micarna, Switzerland’s leading meat processor, has installed modern screens for internal communication at its sites in Courtepin and Bazenheid. These are located at the entrance, in the passerelle and in the restaurant and inform the more than 2,000 employees about the most important news of the day, safety tips and company information such as the current lunch menu and upcoming employee events. This eliminates the time-consuming management of the previous “notice boards”. Data maintenance is particularly easy thanks to ready-made templates. Many processes have been automated to maximize time savings.
A uniform level of information for all employees
Thanks to the screens, all employees can be brought up to the same level of knowledge in the shortest possible time, which noticeably increases motivation. Various screens have been installed in the staff restaurant to keep employees informed during their breaks. These show additional and more detailed information about Micarna and its successes. A special highlight: during major sporting events, the screens turn into TV sets at the touch of a button so that the team on site can follow exciting soccer matches or legendary tennis matches live.
