Bernaqua is a popular adventure pool and spa in Bern’s Westside, known for its wide range of leisure activities and first-class wellness area. The facility offers a unique combination of swimming fun, relaxation and sporting activities. With various pools, slides and saunas, Bernaqua attracts both families and those seeking relaxation and has established itself as one of the leading leisure facilities in the region.
Digital display systems in Bernaqua
To optimize customer communication, a total of nine screens were used at Bernaqua, which are controlled by our software. For example, the new screen in the massage area informs the staff responsible about the next booked massages and the corresponding personal information – an efficient form of internal communication. The monitor at the entrance to the adventure pool, on the other hand, serves as an information point for customers. Both factual information and dynamic content are presented here to appeal to viewers emotionally and inspire them to visit.
Challenges and innovative solutions
The biggest challenge in this project was the special conditions of an adventure pool. The high temperatures and tropical humidity of up to 95% required creative solutions. For the screens in question, technology from the aerospace industry was therefore used to prevent overheating and keep the moisture out of the housing. These screens are housed behind a durable protective glass that is resistant to chlorine and other chemicals found in a bathroom.
